Coffee may help prevent diabetes

The latest potential medical benefit of coffee is to help prevent type 2 diabetes. A study recently found that a coffee drinker’s risk of developing type 2 diabetes may be reduced by as much as sixty percent. As the article points out though, it’s far from a certainty and should be viewed with appropriately scientific skepticism. However, if nothing else, it does seem to indicate that drinking caffeinated coffee does not increase one’s risk of developing diabetes. So, drink up!
