An Italian coffee bar in America!
Italian coffee bar company Mokarabia is coming to the US! While I don’t recall ever visiting one of their cafes in Italy, I loved the coffee bars I did go to over there, and can’t wait to see a true Italian style coffee bar here. In addition to the usual espresso drinks, they’ll have gelato, omelets, and pastries, all served up in a store who’s interior was built by Italian crasftsmen flown in from Italy just for this job. Mokarabia is opening their first location in Verrado, just west of Phoenix. The name “Mokarabia” comes from “moka,” the original seed of all Arabica coffees, which grew wild in Ethiopia and was first cultivated in Yemen. (via bizjournals)
